As for Bathhouse, I don't think more needs said. As in every game, going against drones isn't fun, and that's no different in CT's Seoul mission. I've typically avoided Seoul and Bathhouse (for obvious reasons), and now that I've finally played them again, I will likely give them a miss for another year or so yet again. I've always liked every PT mission (though I usually avoid LAX due to the last section), so no surprise.Ĭhaos Theory, again, is great as always. Still the best settings and atmosphere as well, made all the better with the enhanced performance. A couple of spots that are borderline tedious (Jerusalem warehouse section, LAX end portion), but they are much shorter than other tedious sections in the series. All of the other favorites were certainly enhanced greatly by the newer console. Nothing like tedious action sequences in a stealth game. Kalinatek isn't great either, to say the least. Oil Rig and Abattoir in particular are godawful. Every other mission is in some part extremely tedious. And I realize now that was for good reason. I usually only play Police Station, Defense Ministry, CIA, and Chinese Embassy 2. While playing through the entirety of SC 1 was tense, challenging, and atmospheric, holy shit is it a slog at times. Having to play through each game has made me realize some things. But this time, I pretty much had to play each game all the way since I was starting from scratch on a different system. I have to say, typically I'll only pop one of the games in and play a couple of my favorite missions instead of playing through the whole game through. Before, I was just playing the collection on PS3. I recently played through the entire series (including both versions of DA), and surprisingly, the greatly improved fidelity and frame rate made playing games I'm extremely familiar with feel fresh again.
